Last Updated: August 27, 2026
Soovex IT Agency ("Soovex", "we", "us", or "our") operates QRVault: QR Scan & Generator (the "App").
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your information. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be accessed, collected, processed, stored, or shared when you use the App and explains your choices regarding that information.
By downloading or using QRVault: QR Scan & Generator, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We May Access
Depending on the features you use and the permissions you grant, QRVault may access certain information from your device.
Camera
QRVault may request access to your device camera to scan QR codes and barcodes. Camera access is used to provide scanning functionality. We do not use the camera to continuously monitor you or record conversations.
Camera access is only requested when a feature requires it, and you can control this permission through your device settings.
Photos, Images, and Files
If you choose to scan a QR code or barcode from an existing image, QRVault may request access to the selected image or file.
Images are processed only as necessary to provide the selected feature. Where technically possible, scanning and decoding are performed locally on your device.
QR and Barcode Content
QRVault may temporarily process information encoded within a QR code or barcode in order to display the scan result or perform an action requested by you.
Depending on the code type, this information may include URLs, text, telephone numbers, email addresses, Wi-Fi information, contact information, geographic coordinates, event information, product identifiers, or other data encoded by the QR/barcode creator.
We do not claim ownership of the information contained in QR codes or barcodes you scan or create.
Generated QR Codes and Barcodes
When you create a QR code or barcode, the information you provide may be processed by the App to generate the requested code.
Basic generated codes may be created locally on your device. If you voluntarily use an online, cloud, dynamic QR, analytics, synchronization, or other network-based feature, additional information may be transmitted to the relevant service as described in this Privacy Policy and within that feature.
2. Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect
For basic offline QR and barcode functionality, we do not intentionally collect:
- Your camera footage.
- Your microphone recordings.
- Your contacts unless you explicitly use a feature requiring them.
- Your personal photos unless you explicitly select them for a feature.
- The contents of QR codes solely because you scan them.
- The contents of barcodes solely because you scan them.
- Your passwords or authentication credentials.
- Your precise location unless a feature explicitly requires it and you grant permission.
3. How We Use Information
Information accessed or processed by QRVault may be used solely as necessary to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the features you request.
This may include:
- Scanning QR codes and barcodes.
- Generating QR codes and barcodes.
- Customizing QR designs, colors, frames, and logos.
- Saving codes locally when you choose to save them.
- Displaying scan history when enabled.
- Exporting and sharing codes at your request.
- Processing images selected by you.
- Providing customer support.
- Detecting errors, crashes, abuse, and security problems.
- Improving application performance and reliability.
4. Local Storage
QRVault may store certain information locally on your device, including generated QR codes, barcode information, scan history, favorites, settings, templates, and other content you explicitly choose to save.
Local data generally remains on your device until you delete it, clear the application's data, uninstall the App, or use an in-app deletion feature where available.
5. Internet and Network Access
Some QR codes contain online destinations such as websites, social media profiles, online documents, payment pages, or other Internet resources.
When you choose to open such a destination, your device will connect to the relevant third-party service. That service may independently collect information according to its own privacy policy.
QRVault is not responsible for the privacy practices, content, security, or data collection practices of third-party websites or services accessed through scanned QR codes.
6. Third-Party Services
QRVault may use third-party service providers when necessary to operate, secure, analyze, distribute, or improve certain features. Such providers may process limited information according to their own privacy policies and applicable agreements.
Depending on the version of the App and the features enabled, third-party services may include services for application distribution, crash reporting, analytics, advertising, cloud functionality, or other technical infrastructure.
We do not sell your personal information.
7. Advertising
If advertising is enabled in a version of QRVault, third-party advertising providers may process certain information such as advertising identifiers, approximate location, device information, or interaction information in accordance with their own policies and applicable platform settings.
Advertising practices may vary by country, device, application version, and user settings.
Where applicable, users may manage advertising and privacy controls through their Android device settings and the controls provided by the relevant advertising provider.
8. Analytics and Crash Reporting
We may use analytics or crash-reporting technologies to understand application performance and diagnose technical problems.
Depending on the services implemented in the App, this information may include application version, operating system version, device type, crash information, performance information, and generalized usage information.
Analytics and crash-reporting services are intended to help us maintain a stable, secure, and reliable application. We do not use crash reports to intentionally collect the contents of your private QR codes or barcodes.
9. Dynamic QR Codes and Online Features
Some advanced QR functionality may require an Internet connection. This can include dynamic QR codes, cloud synchronization, QR analytics, campaign management, bulk processing, or other online functionality.
If you voluntarily use such functionality, information necessary to operate that feature may be transmitted to our servers or applicable third-party service providers.
Online features may process information such as QR destination URLs, QR identifiers, account information where applicable, scan timestamps, device or browser information, and aggregated analytics.
We will not collect information for an online feature that is not necessary to provide that feature.
10. Location Information
QRVault does not require continuous location tracking for basic scanning or QR generation.
A QR code may itself contain geographic coordinates or a location link. If you choose to open such information in a map or navigation application, the relevant third-party service may process location information according to its own privacy policy.
If an optional QR analytics feature uses approximate location information, it will be used only as necessary to provide that feature and subject to applicable privacy controls.
11. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
Information may be shared or processed only when reasonably necessary to:
- Provide a feature requested by you.
- Operate technical infrastructure.
- Provide analytics or crash reporting.
- Provide advertising where enabled.
- Protect the security and integrity of the App.
- Comply with applicable laws, regulations, or valid legal requests.
- Protect the rights, safety, and property of Soovex IT Agency, our users, or others.
12. Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
Information stored locally by the App can generally be removed by deleting the relevant item, clearing application data, or uninstalling the App.
If online services are used, retention periods may vary depending on the particular feature and applicable legal or operational requirements.
13. Your Choices and Controls

- Allow or deny camera access.
- Allow or deny access to selected photos or files.

- Delete scan history.
- Disable optional features.
- Reset application data through Android settings.

14. Data Deletion
QRVault is designed to allow users to remove locally stored content through available application controls or Android device settings.
If an online account or server-based feature is introduced and requires account information, users may request deletion of applicable account information by contacting us using the details below, subject to applicable legal requirements.
Please note that deleting the App from your device may not automatically delete information that you voluntarily submitted to an external third-party service.
15. Children's Privacy
QRVault is a general-purpose utility application and is not designed to specifically target children.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable laws.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us in a manner that violates applicable law, please contact us so that we can review and take appropriate action.
16. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information handled by QRVault against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
However, no application, Internet transmission, or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
17. Third-Party Links
QR codes can contain links to websites and services operated by third parties. QRVault does not control those services.

Where required by applicable law, appropriate safeguards will be used for international transfers of personal information.
19. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the App, our services, legal requirements, or privacy practices.
When changes are made, the updated policy will be published with a revised "Last Updated" date.
